An application was created together with a REACTIK Partner from the Ben Gurion Negev university. We managed to compile 8 relevant contributions to a potential Special Issue, where we examine the hypotheses of the EU as a global actor and its use in culture diplomacy. As the EU publicly declares its intentions to get internationally involved with non-EU countries’ cultural policies, this project wishes to identify and map the power structures in the culture field in each partner country, to define its dynamics and to assess the success of the European Culture Diplomacy from the perspectives of its subjects, i.e. the non-European countries. The proposal has been thus far sent to 5 potential Journals.
