Welcome to a new semester!
On Friday, 23 February, we had an intensive day of Orientation for students from many programmes just arriving at our Institute!
We covered everything from the mysteries of USOSweb and student IDs through what kinds of ‘Culture Surprises’ we can expect and how to cope with them.
The session was kicked off by a word of welcome from our Director, Prof Krzysztof Koźbiał and we were also grateful for online participation by the SOWA centre and Dr Przemysław Tacik. Special thanks goes to Svetlana Baranova and Paulina Pilipiuk for organising the event.
