Konferencja to finalne wydarzenie organizowane w ramach projektu rEUnify: Realities and Legacies after 30 years of German reunification finansowanego ze środków z UE. Projekt dotyczy pamięci zjednoczenia Niemiec. Jego liderem jest Kolegium Europy Wschodniej a jednym z partnerów Instytut Studiów Europejskich reprezentowany przez dr hab. Kingę Annę Gajdę. Podczas seminarium rezultaty swojej pracy badawczej zaprezentują studenci ISE, którzy na swoje badania i wyjazd do Drezna otrzymali dofinansowanie z mini grantu (Konkurs Wydziału Studiów Międzynarodowych i Politycznych UJ (WSMiP UJ) „Granty dla przyszłości”, realizowany jest poprzez Działanie nr 14 (Zarządzanie talentami) w ramach programu strategicznego Inicjatywa Doskonałości w Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim.
