 "Identities and Citizenship in Europe"

25^th of June to 6^th of July 2012

Banská Bystrica, Slovakia

Summer School will gather students and teachers from Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.

Programme will consist of lectures, seminars, workshops and individual research in the areas of:

- Citizenship, media and public spaces

- Religions and European identities

- Local/Global, identities and citizenships in Europe

- Citizenships and environment in Europe

- European diplomacy inside and outside

Accommodation, meals and travel will be covered by Organiser.

Who can apply?

MA and PhD students (European Studies, Political Sciences, Sociology) affiliated at Jagiellonian University, that are citizens of one of the EU countries.

Contact Natasza Styczyńska (natasza.styczynska@uj.edu.pl) to receive an application form. You'll need to write an essay (in English, max.5 pages long) related to the theme of the Summer School.

Deadline for the 2^nd round of application is 20^th of April 2012
