Assistant professor at the Institute of European Studies, Faculty of International and Political Studies, Jagiellonian University (JU). Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration (FLA) of JU (2004); also studied at the Institute of Sociology of JU (2000-2005). Received his PhD in law from FLA JU in 2008. Awarded the Prof. Stanisław Kutrzeba Prize on the Protection of Human Rights in Europe for a one-year-long research stay at the Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany (2007-2008). Also a recipient of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education Scholarship for Outstanding Young Researchers (2014-2017). Humboldt Fellow at the MenschenRechtsZentrum, Faculty of Law, University of Potsdam, Germany (2021-2023).
Editor-in-Chief of the law journal PWPM – Review of International, European and Comparative Law. Major areas of interest and research: human rights law, anti-discrimination law, law of treaties, diplomatic and consular law.
