Friday, 8 May 2026 has been designated as a day free from teaching activities for students across all programmes at the Institute of European Studies (under the Director’s discretionary hours). This decision is linked to the celebration of 🇪🇺 Europe Day - a long‑standing tradition of our Institute - which this year also forms part of the 25th anniversary of the Faculty. Professor Radka Svarickova from the Faculty of History at the University of Olomouc will give a guest lecture on 12 May 2026 at 13:15, entitled ‘Beyond sight: Multisensory experiences in Poland’s Second World War museums’.
The lecture will take place in room 543.

Students of all levels and in all programmes at the Institute of European Studies of Jagiellonian University are eligible to participate in the competition.
