We are pleased to announce that Svetlana Baranova, a staff member of the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University, has been appointed a European Climate Pact Ambassador – an initiative of the European Commission carried out as part of the European Green Deal.

The Jan Dekert Lubusz Museum in Gorzów Wielkopolski – one of the oldest cultural institutions in the Lubusz region – has joined the group of partners of the Institute of European Studies. Since 1945, the institution has been dedicated to safeguarding cultural heritage and promoting the region’s cultural legacy. Its various branches present rich historical, artistic and ethnographic collections, and offer an extensive programme of educational and workshop activities, encouraging reflection on the history, culture and identity of the local community.
