Key responsibilities:

• Coordination and financial administration of English‑language study programmes delivered at the Institute of European Studies
• Coordination of the international joint degree programme MA in International Relations: Europe from Visegrad Perspective, implemented within the VNDREAM university network
• Coordination of the events calendar for English‑language programmes at the Institute of European Studies
• Management of educational and research projects, including administrative and financial support for their delivery

Sylwia Boryka holds a degree in Mathematics from the Jagiellonian University, specialising in financial mathematics. She has extensive experience in university administration, including the financial and administrative coordination of international study programmes. Her expertise lies in programmes delivered in collaboration with consortia of partner universities worldwide, including Double Degree, Multiple Degree and Joint Degree schemes.

She is responsible for the financial coordination of international educational and research projects implemented under programmes such as Erasmus Mundus, Horizon Europe, Jean Monnet and CERV. She also has substantial experience in administering international projects funded by the Visegrad Fund (Visegrad Grants, Visegrad+ Grants and Strategic Grants), the World Bank, the Norwegian Funds, Horizon 2020, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In addition, she delivers training in the implementation of international programmes.

She has further developed her professional expertise through participation in international academic staff exchanges, including Erasmus+ and Education programmes. She is also a member of the management boards of international study consortia operated within the Institute of European Studies, as well as of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University.
