The Institute of European Studies has officially joined the correspondents network of Campus France Polska, a network which supports the development of academic and cultural cooperation between Poland and France. Established in 2012, the network currently brings together more than 60 contact people in Poland – lecturers, French teachers, and other representatives of the academic community – who cooperate on a voluntary basis with the Institut Français de Pologne and the Embassy of France in Poland.

Institute of European Studies invites applications for part-time (35%) research assistance position to begin in December 2025 and lasting for app. 10 months. The position requires residing in Kraków.

Professor Czesław Porębski was a distinguished specialist in ethics and social and political philosophy. He was the emeritus Head of the Department of Philosophy at the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, at 13:00 in the funerary chapel at the Bielany Cemetery in Krakow.
