Cooperation with the Association for the Development and Promotion of the Podkarpacie Region “Pro Carpathia”

The Institute of European Studies at Jagiellonian University has signed a cooperation agreement with an external stakeholder – the Association for the Development and Promotion of the Podkarpacie Region “Pro Carpathia”. The Association is a well‑established organisation working to support the socio‑economic development of the Podkarpacie region and implementing numerous national and international projects in the areas of support for civil society organisations, education, research and cross‑sectoral cooperation.

End-of-Year Ceremony at the Fourth Upper Secondary School

The Director of the Institute of European Studies at Jagiellonian University, Prof. Kinga Gajda, together with the Institute’s secondary school liaison coordinator, Prof. Tadeusz Kopyś, attended the formal end-of-year ceremony for final-year students and the farewell event for graduates of the Tadeusz Kościuszko Fourth Upper Secondary School in Kraków.

New cooperation agreement

The Institute of European Studies has established a partnership with the Polish Civic Association of Roots and Culture “Czerwone Maki”, based in Santa Fe, Argentina. The cooperation will involve a range of academic and educational activities, including joint research projects, conferences, online lectures, and initiatives supporting intercultural dialogue. Particular emphasis will be placed on research into the culture, history and heritage of the Polish diaspora in Argentina.

Establishing a Partnership with Casa Polonesa Flores da Ágata

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new cooperation agreement with Casa Polonesa Flores da Ágata, an organisation dedicated to promoting Polish cultural heritage in Brazil, particularly in the Rio Grande do Sul region. This unique initiative focuses on nurturing Polish diaspora traditions through the organisation of cultural events, community gatherings and the promotion of Polish folklore and customs.

A Lesson on Mediation in Conflict Management
