Doctor of Law (University of Silesia, Katowice, 2014), graduate in law (master's degree, 2010) and European studies (master's degree, 2009; bachelor's degree 2007) at the Jagiellonian University, completed postgraduate studies in international trade (University of Economics in Krakow, 2014). Her research interests include private international law, family law, public international law and EU law. Visiting professor at Universidade de Lisboa (2019 and 2017), Radboud University in Nijmegen (2017, 2018 and 2019), European Humanities University in Vilnius (2019), Charles University in Prague (2018), and Kobe University (2016). Has also completed research internships in Hamburg (Max Planck Institute, 2019), Luxembourg (Max Planck Institute, 2019), and Florence (European University Institute, 2010). Scholarship holder of the Max Planck Society (2019).
