On 15 December, the second part of the debate on the role of women in addressing contemporary challenges in Polish foreign policy was held at WSMiP UJ. This edition focused on women’s participation in politics and the arts, highlighting their impact on public discourse, cultural narratives, and Poland’s international image.

Last week, students and staff from both our English- and Polish-language programmes kicked off the festive season in style!

On 11 December 2025, the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University hosted the international conference “Past Lessons, Present Insights: Intergenerational Dialogue on the Holocaust”, organised as part of the CERV programme Memory Makers: Youth Driving the Future of Remembrance. The programme is led by Dr Agnieszka Gawlas-Zajączkowska of the Institute of European Studies.
